The illustration of the special storage box for the Blu-ray Disc (BD) "Macross: Do You Remember Love? 4K Remaster Set (4K ULTRA HD Blu-ray & Blu-ray Disc)," a 4K remaster of the popular anime series "Macross" movie "Macross: Do You Remember Love?", has been released. Character designer Haruhiko Mikimoto created the illustration.
The special booklet includes interviews with Mari Iijima, who plays Lynn Minmay, as well as Yuhiro Tomita, Ichiro Itano, Toshiki Hirano, Fumio Iida, and Nobuteru Yuki. The video bonus includes the upconverted version of "Angel's Paint" from Flash Back 2012, which is said to be the phantom ending.
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the film's release on July 21, 1984, the 35mm negative film will be remastered in 4K using the latest film scanning technology. The Blu-ray will be released in two formats: the 1984 theatrical release format and the 2016 complete version format. It will be released on January 29, 2025. The 4K remastered version will be screened in theaters from January 25, 2025.
