It has been announced that Fuji TV announcers Daijiro Enomoto, Yuki Yamazaki, and Reiko Endo will serve as the main Caster of the station's weekday live information program "Live News It!" (Monday to Friday, 3:42 p.m.) starting in spring 2026.
Enokami joined the company in April 2008 and became the main Caster of the program in September 2020. She currently conveys the appeal of sports as the Caster of "Sports!". Taking childcare leave and drawing on her experience raising two children, she reports on social events from a consumer perspective, focusing on how they affect her family.
Yamazaki joined the company in April 2010. She has served as a Caster for Fuji TV's leading information programs and as an MC for many variety shows, but this will be her first time trying her hand at news Caster.
Endo joined the company in April 2005. Fluent in English and Spanish, she has been a sports and news Caster on news and information programs since joining the company.
◇Comment from Daijiro Enokami
As I get older and my life stages change, I have more opportunities to take the news as something that concerns me personally. I feel that it has become more familiar to me than before to think about how social events affect my family and my life. That is why I will deliver accurate, easy-to-understand news in a sincere manner that viewers can watch with peace of mind while imagining their daily lives.
◇Comment from announcer Yuki Yamazaki
This is my first time stepping into the news industry. My son is currently two years old. I spend my days trying to balance work and childcare, but I feel that it is precisely because of this experience that I am able to report from a consumer perspective. Evenings are a particularly busy time, as the countdown to bedtime begins. Even so, I hope to deliver the daily news with sincerity so that it feels close to you.
◇Comment from Reiko Endo
As I am in charge of "Live News It!", there are many times when I come across the news and wonder, "What does that mean?" However, with my busy schedule, I don't have time to think about it carefully. I'm sure our viewers feel the same in the evenings. That's why, together with our new members, I will deliver news that will make you think, "I see," even for just a moment, and make you think, "Maybe I should talk about this for dinner."
