The NHK morning information program " Asaichi " (General TV, Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM), hosted by the comedy duo "Hakata Hanamaru & Daikichi" and Caster Suzuki Naoko, will air a segment titled "The Best Apple Pie Eating Journey in Aomori" on December 18th.
On the same day, as part of "Medetai Nippon," apples are in season! We'll eat all the delicious apple pies in Aomori, the birthplace of apples! Actor Kato Ryo will be broadcasting a winter trip to Aomori in search of his heart's desire. The apples are chunky and juicy, and there's also a mille-feuille-style apple and dough paired with cinnamon-scented ice cream! Guided by a concierge, you'll compare and taste a variety of unique apple pies in a private taxi. Can you enjoy Tsugaru lacquerware, a traditional craft that Aomori is proud of, on your nails? A series of cute clay figurines that will make your heart flutter! "Aomori, the Jomon Kingdom" will also be featured.
The opening feature will be an introduction to "Gap Warming Goods." The "Now Recommended! LIVE" section will feature a live broadcast of "A Thorough Exploration of Samurai Residences" from Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture. The "Everyone! It's Time for Dinner" section will feature Junko Ueda as the lecturer. Guests will be entertainers Moe Yamaguchi and Kato.
