The 70th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others), starring Akari Takaishi , was broadcast on Getsuku, and viewers praised the words and actions of Fumi, played by Chizuru Ikewaki.
The wedding reception for Toki (Takaishi) and Heaven (Tommy Bastow) is held. As the two families exchange greetings, Heaven, who hates lies, suddenly says, "I can't...be...a...family!" Heaven, who was separated from her mother at a young age, is happy to have two "mamasans," calling them "Otoko Mamasan, Otae Mamasan." To which Toki confesses her true feelings, saying, "That's not fair... that's not fair. I've always wanted to say that too... Mother..."
However, Toki has a hard time calling Tae "mother," so Fumi suggests, "Then... how about 'Mama-san'?" "You can say 'Mama-san,' right?" Toki sobs and mutters "Mama-san," to which Fumi responds, "Your voice is quiet, though." When Toki calls out "Mama-san!" Tae smiles and says "Yes," through tears, and tells Fumi, "Thank you." Fumi shook her head and shed tears.
Fumi's words and actions in this scene attracted attention, with comments on social media such as, "Fumi is the best mother to O-Toki, transcending the roles of biological parent and adoptive parent," "Ofumi, who properly connected O-Tae and O-Toki, is a true mother," "Ofumi was able to control every chaotic situation that occurred. I thought that was typical of Chizuru Ikewaki," "It was so moving to feel the love she has for her daughter..." and "The scene where O-Tae says 'thank you' to Ofumi and Ofumi shakes her head while crying brings me to tears no matter how many times I watch it."
