The second installment of Hankyu Hanshin Properties' corporate commercial series, "Towards a City of Connections," starring actress Mio Imada, titled "Live. Work. Play," began airing on August 1st. The commercial is filled with Imada's cute charm as she tours the streets of Osaka. The commercial is also scheduled to air during the TBS "Tokyo 2025 World Athletics Championships," for which Imada serves as an ambassador.
Considering that Hankyu Hanshin Properties is a comprehensive real estate company that promotes urban development that caters to various lifestyles, such as "live, work, and play," this time, the photos were taken at two facilities in Osaka City: the condominium "Geo," as well as "WELLCO," a wellness zone exclusively for employees of tenant companies in the high-rise complex "Osaka Umeda Twin Towers South," and the commercial building "HERBIS PLAZA ENT."
On the day of filming, preparations began at 3am. Imada arrived on set at 5:50am, and filmed with around 180 other cast members and staff at Herbis Plaza Ent, a commercial building that is a place to "play." Imada appeared in a purple dress reminiscent of the maroon color used on Hankyu Railway trains. It was a difficult scene that required her to time her lines perfectly in line with the movements of the camera, lighting, and extras, but she quickly grasped the flow and continued acting.
Next, they moved to the "Living" condominium "Geo," where they filmed the lifestyles of people of many generations living in the apartment. Finally, employees of Hankyu Hanshin Properties participated as extras in the filming at "WELLCO," the "Working" space. Although it was a hectic filming schedule, Imada, the cast, and the entire staff all worked together as one to get through it, wrapping up filming at 1:47pm. At the end of filming, Imada reportedly gave an adorable fist pump.
Imada commented, "I think the film depicts many people in different locations as being connected as one, so I hope you will enjoy watching it."
