It has been announced that the solo live performance by the three-member band "Marushii" to be held at Yokohama Arena (Kohoku-ku, Yokohama) on January Getsuku and 10th next year will be broadcast and streamed on WOWOW in April next year. WOWOW has also announced a series of special programs to be aired from February to April.
Marcy's heartbreak song went viral on social media, becoming a hot topic and gaining popularity, especially among young people of Gen Z. Their first solo live performance was in December 2021 at a live music venue in Fukuoka, the city where the band was formed. After a successful first solo performance in Tokyo in March of the following year, they embarked on a nationwide tour in July and held their first hall live performance at the end of the year. As their popularity on social media grew, the scale of their live performances grew, and in 2025 they finally achieved their dream of performing at the Nippon Budokan.
With the band heading to the Yokohama Arena concert in January next year, which will be the biggest in the band's history, Marcy has told fans, "I'm sure these two days will be unlike anything they've ever done before, and they'll be special days." With their latest album, "Flavors," they have further enhanced their musicality, and it will be interesting to see what kind of world they will paint on the big stage at Yokohama Arena.
WOWOW will broadcast and stream the Yokohama Arena concert in April next year under the title "Marcy One Man Live 2026 in Yokohama Arena."
The lineup for February and March next year is as follows:
"Marcy One Man Live 2025 'With Your Daily'" (February 27, 6:30 PM, WOWOW Live/WOWOW On Demand): Broadcast and stream footage of the live performance held at Nippon Budokan on April 12, 2025. Marcy went on a nationwide tour from January to March 2024, and appeared at numerous music festivals from spring to summer. After a Zepp tour in the fall, he took on the challenge of performing at Nippon Budokan. He performed a number of songs that directly expressed his past achievements, including "Love Song," which became the first song in his career to surpass 100 million cumulative plays on Oricon's weekly streaming rankings in December 2024.
"Marshi Music Video Collection" (broadcast and streaming in March): A collection of all the songs and music videos (MVs) that Marshi has released to date will be broadcast and streamed. Marshi created the music video for "Drama" in 2019, while still an indie artist. The following year, in 2020, he launched his own YouTube channel and released the music video for "Esora." When he released the digital single "Drama/Esora," the soft, sensitive video, which perfectly blended in the world of the song, attracted attention, and since then, music videos have become an essential element in discussing Marshi's music.
