The animated film " 100 Meters ", based on the manga by Uoto , who is also known for " Orb: On the Movements of the Earth (Chi: Chikyu no Undo ni Tsuite), " which was adapted into a TV anime, will be exclusively distributed worldwide on Netflix from December 31st. To commemorate the 100th day since the film's release on December 27th, a newly drawn illustration of elementary school students Togashi and Komiya has been released.
To commemorate the 100th day since the release, the third round of giveaways to moviegoers, "6-cut stickers featuring character names and lines," will be redistributed from December 26th. From December 27th, a total of 100 icons featuring characters and famous scenes will be distributed on the official website.
" 100 Meters" is Uo Uoto's debut serialized work, which was serialized on Kodansha's web manga app Magazine Pocket (Magapoke) from 2018 to 2019. It depicts the madness and passion of those in the world of track and field who are captivated by the brilliance of the 100m, a flash of light that lasts less than 10 seconds.
The anime will be directed by Kenji Iwaizawa, who was nominated for an Annie Award for his work on "Music," and produced by Rock 'n' Roll Mountain, the studio behind "Music." The film was released on September 19th and has been a hit, grossing 750 million yen and attracting over 510,000 viewers.
