An original illustration drawn by the original author, Totsuka, has been released. It depicts Shen gazing ahead with a sharp gaze that hides his determination. The TV special "Winter Arc" was broadcast late at night on December 25th, and the production of the second season was announced.
" Undead Unluck" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from January 2020 to January 2025. It depicts the unusual buddy duo of Fuko, a girl with the power of unluck (bad luck) who has prepared herself for death, and Andy, a man with the power of immortality (undead) who seeks death, as they face numerous enemies and the mysteries of the world. It also attracted attention after winning first place in the comics category of the "Next Manga Awards 2020."
The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2023 to March 2024.
