A visual commemorating the 10th anniversary of the popular anime series "KING OF PRISM" has been released. The visual pays homage to the cover art of the soundtrack CD for the first film in the series, "KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm," and features Ichijo Shin, Kisaragi Rui, and Over The Rainbow's Kamihama Koji, Hayami Hiro, and Nishina Kazuki, each holding a penlight and movie theater-related items. The accompanying message reads, "Instead of thanking you, now and in the future, let me say I love you!" The visual is said to express 10 years of gratitude to fans and theaters across the country that have made the "support screening" viewing style, an essential element of the series, a popular viewing style.
At the 10th anniversary screening event "-10th Anniversary Week- Series Screening" to be held at theaters nationwide from January Getsuku to 15th, 2026, a "10th Anniversary Visual Postcard" featuring the 10th anniversary visual will be distributed as a special gift to all attendees. It was also announced that 10th anniversary merchandise will be on sale.
"King of Prism" is a spin-off of the TV anime "Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live," which aired from April 2013 to March 2014, and depicts the dedication of Kamihama Kouji, Hayami Hiro, and Nishina Kazuki as they devote themselves to singing and performing. The animated film version, "King of Prism by PrettyRhythm," was released in 2016, and "King of Prism -PRIDE the HERO-" in 2017.
In 2019, "KING OF PRISM -Shiny Seven Stars-" was broadcast as a TV anime, and a theatrical edit was released. "KING OF PRISM ALL STARS-Prism Show☆Best Ten-" and "KING OF PRISM -Dramatic PRISM.1-" have also been screened. "KING OF PRISM -Your Endless Call-Everyone Sparkle! Prism☆Tours" was released on June 27th, and its cumulative box office revenue exceeded 1.1 billion yen, breaking the series' all-time record for highest box office revenue. The number of viewers exceeded 580,000. The series will celebrate its 10th anniversary on January Getsuku, 2026.
