A plastic model of Steel Jeeg, which appears in the robot anime Steel Jeeg, which aired from 1975 to 1976, will be released as "SMP [SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT] Steel Jeeg Through-in Set [Premium Bandai Limited]" (Bandai). This plastic model is part of the "SMP"Shokugan series that comes as a free gift with gum, and costs 14,993 yen.
Each part can be disassembled and combined like in the build-up scene. Includes reinforced weapon parts such as the horse-shaped support mecha Pantheroid, Zieg Lancer, Zieg Buckler, and Mach Drill. Can be combined with Pantheroid (through-in). Also includes joint parts for the Mach Drill, which was also included in the toy at the time of broadcast. Total height is approximately 14.5 cm.
Pre-orders are being accepted on Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, Premium Bandai. Shipment is scheduled for December.
