The second promotional video for the short anime "Fist of the North Star: Requiem for the Fist of the North Star Army's Minions," a spin-off of the popular manga "Fist of the North Star," has been released on YouTube. The film depicts the exploits of the familiar "minions" from "Fist of the North Star," and the promotional video is full of dynamism, using a video technology called "Animatica" to bring out the charm of the manga frames to the fullest.
"Fist of the North Star: Elegy of the Fist King's Army's Weapons" depicts the exploits of the familiar "weapons" from "Fist of the North Star." In the year 199X, the protagonist Nobu finds employment with the Fist King's Army, an extremely dangerous workplace where more people die than apply. The game features a variety of unique weapons, including a weapon disguised as an old woman, the Uighur prison warden of Cassandra, and the Holy Emperor's "man who disinfects filth."
Each episode of the anime will be a short animation of about five minutes, with Daisuke Miura serving as animation director and produced by Doraku. Voice actors include Hiro Shimono as Nobu, Shinnosuke Hai as Zaku, and Masaaki Yano as Birds. Shinya Takahashi will be in charge of narration. It will be broadcast on AT-X and TOKYO MX from January 5, 2026.
