It has been announced that the second cour of the second season of the TV anime "Mission: Mission: Yozakura Family ," based on the manga by Hitsuji Gondaira serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), will begin airing in October in the Sunday 5pm anime slot "Nichigo" on MBS and TBS. The first cour of the second season began airing in "Nichigo" in April and concluded with its final episode on June 28th.
A special trailer for the second cour of the second season has been released. In the climax of the first cour, the true intentions behind the actions of Mutsumi and her siblings' father, Yozakura Momo, were finally revealed. Momo's twisted love destroys the family and eventually threatens even the Spy Association. Top-tier spies also appear, and the siblings' fates are manipulated by Momo.
" Mission: Yozakura Family Taiyo Asano, an extremely shy high school student, who marries Mutsumi Yozakura, the daughter of a powerful spy family and his childhood friend, and becomes a member of that family. The original manga was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from August 2019 to January 2025. The cumulative circulation of the comic books exceeds 3.6 million copies. The first season of the TV anime aired on Sunday 5pm from April to October 2024.
