The first key visual and the first trailer for episode 5 of the final chapter of the popular anime "Girls und Panzer" have been released. Oarai Girls' Academy, competing in the "Winter Infinite Track Cup," has won the fierce semi-final match and finally advanced to the finals. Their final opponent will be St. Gloriana Girls' Academy, led by Darjeeling. With both teams' pride on the line in the final match, the "final chapter" is finally entering its climax.
Among the St. Gloriana Girls' Academy team is Shimada Alice, who transferred in hoping for a rematch with Miho. With each of them harboring their own unwavering determination, such as "You're the first person I've ever truly wanted to fight... that's why I'm going to defeat you," the final match begins.
It was also announced that "Girls und Panzer: More Love-Love Operation!", the official spin-off that premiered in theaters in December 2025, will be broadcast on television starting in October on TOKYO MX, BS Nippon Television, Tulip Television, and Shikoku Broadcasting.
"Girls und Panzer" is an anime set in a world where "Tankery," a sport involving fighting with tanks, is considered a refined accomplishment alongside flower arrangement and tea ceremony. The story follows girls who work together to win the national Tankery tournament. The TV anime aired from 2012 to 2013, and a theatrical film was released in 2015. The first episode of the final chapter was screened in December 2017, the second in June 2019, the third in March 2021, and the fourth in October 2023. The fifth episode, the first new installment in approximately three years since the fourth episode, will be screened on Getsuku.
