It has been announced that a third season of the TV anime "Wistoria of the Wand and Sword," which is based on a manga by Fujino Omori, known for the popular light novel "Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon (Danmachi)," will be produced.
The second season began airing in April on 28 TBS network stations nationwide and concluded with its final episode on June 28th. A new visual and special trailer commemorating the production of the third season, drawn by character designer Sayaka Ono, have been released.
"Wistoria of the Wand and Sword" is a manga series written by Omori and illustrated by Sei Aoi, which has been serialized in "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha) since December 2020. Set in a world where magic is supreme, it depicts the story of Will, a boy who can't use magic at all, as he enrolls in a magic academy and fights on despite being on the verge of giving up due to the cold stares of those around him. The first season of the TV anime aired from July to September 2024.
