"Teenage Mercenary" to be made into an anime

It has been announced that the webtoon "Teenage Mercenary" currently being serialized on "LINE Manga" will be adapted into an anime. The series began serialization in Japan in April 2021 and is a popular work with a total of over 730 million views in Japan, ranking first in the "LINE Manga 2023 Annual Ranking" and "LINE Manga 2024 Annual Ranking (Serialized)". The story is based on a story by YC and illustrated by rakhyun. It is an action drama about a former mercenary turned high school student, Tatewaki Souma, who fights with overwhelming strength and kindness to protect those he holds dear. Tatewaki Souma was the only survivor of a plane crash at the age of eight, and lived as a mercenary to survive. However, after 10 years of mercenary life, he returns to his hometown to see his family, and enrolls in the same high school as his sister, who is two years younger than him, as a third-year student... This is the story. It is distributed in 10 languages around the world, and has gained popularity around the world, with a total of approximately 1.86 billion views globally.
