Minamoto Toya (Akihisa Shiono) strangles Hanajin Ayame (Asou) and becomes violent again. However, Toya cries and begs for forgiveness, saying, "Don't abandon me." He begins to treat Ayame more gently than ever before.
Although Ayame feels Toya's love, she realizes that she is afraid of him. She is shocked to learn that Toya has been secretly searching for his missing wife, Natsune (Kita Kana), behind her back.
Yoko Mogami (Misuzu Kanno) suddenly visits the law firm where Ayame works. Having successfully overcome the label of "pervert wife," Yoko has finally decided to run for office and says she wants Ayame to join her team. The condition is that she breaks up with Touya and cleans up her affairs. Ayame couldn't answer right away.
The murder of Nada Okutaro (Sano Shiro) was supposed to have a shocking ending, with his death being an accidental suffocation during a bondage play. Jun (Ochiai Motoki), who confessed that he faked the murder weapon to make it look like a murder to protect his father's honor, seems to still be hiding something. Then, Toya appears in the visiting room to get a clue for the search for Natsune, and asks, "Was it really suicide...?"
The script was written by Erika Seki. This is a co-production between TV Asahi and South Korea's SLL, which has produced global hits such as "Itaewon Class." This is a love suspense drama in which a lone lawyer, Ayame, falls in forbidden love with a murder suspect, Toya.
