Former Takarazuka Revue top star and actor Rio Asumi recently attended the awards ceremony for the 50th Kikuta Kazuo Drama Awards, held in Tokyo. Asumi, who received the Drama Award for her performances as Anna in "The King and I" and Miyokichi in "Descending Stories: Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju," appeared in a pale floral kimono and showed off her elegant outfit.
Her hair was styled in a voluminous updo and combined with a small floral patterned collar to add a glamorous mood. The subdued color of the obi and obi fastener added a finishing touch to the outfit.
Also attending the awards ceremony were Kuriyama Tamiya, who won the grand prize for directing the plays "Orlando" and "Fan Letter," as well as Masami Nagasawa and Kai Shoma, who won the theater award.
