The sixth episode of the drama series "Kanojo ga sore mo ai to yobunara" (Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV, Thursdays 11:59pm), starring actress Chiaki Kuriyama, was broadcast on May 8th. Eri Tokunaga, who plays the housewife Kinuka Shinoki, attracted attention on social media.

In the midst of a cold home situation, Kinuka crosses the line with Hariu (Yasushi Fuchigami). While feeling guilty towards her family, she is immersed in a sense of liberation that "I am free."
Kinuka felt like "I'm not myself." So much so that the illustrator Ima (Kuriyama) said to her, "I want to draw Kinuka's face."
Determined not to give up on either her family's happiness or her own, Kinuka finally proposes to her husband Masato (Shukugawa Atom) "You should continue to meet the people you want to meet and spend your time the way you want, as you have been doing until now. I'll do the same. You don't have to break up with Yazawa-san (Nishihara Aki) (Masato's lover). We should both accept what we want to do."
However, Masato flatly dismisses it, saying, "There's no way I'd accept something like that."
Kinuka refuses to back down and says, "I want to be free too. I want to think seriously about how I want to live my life from now on." But Masato doesn't respond, saying, "So you want a divorce?"
Afterwards, her daughter Moe (played by Ayaka Namiki) asked her, "Mom, you have someone you like, right? That's why you're divorcing Dad, right?" Kinuka had no choice but to embrace her daughter tenderly and admit, "I'm sorry."
On social media, comments such as, "Tokunaga Eri makes it seem like Kinuka is getting more and more beautiful; she's amazing. I absolutely love her," "Tokunaga Eri is amazing at how she can portray both the "woman's face" and the "mother's face," and "Tokunaga Eri's fluctuating expressions were really realistic. It felt like she was communicating with her eyes rather than through lines. I was moved by her quiet strength."
On the other hand, there were also comments such as, "I would like to give my heartfelt applause to Shukugawa Atom for his brilliant performance as the bastard husband."
