A special one-shot story, "Hell Teacher Nube: Hyakumonogatari Kenbunroku," a prequel to the new "Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube" of the popular manga "Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube," written by Sho Makura and illustrated by Takeshi Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube " (Shueisha), has been released on the official website of "Saikyō Jump" (Shueisha). The one-shot story was published in the September 2024 issue of "Saikyō Jump," and will be published for a limited time until June 3rd, following the start of the serialization of the new work in the June issue of the magazine, which will be released on May 2nd.
The new story "Kai" will be on the cover and in color on the opening page of the June issue of "Saikyō Jump". Nube will travel through time and space to save the students of class 5-3, including Hiroshi and Satoko, who have been drawn into the world of ghost stories. This is the first new anime to be produced in about 26 years since the 1999 OVA (original video animation) "Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube: The Greatest Battle in History! Zetsuki Raishū!!" and is also a hot topic.
The issue comes with special "Jujutsu Kaisen" stickers (4 types in total), a double-sided B3-sized poster of "My Hero Academia Team-Up Mission", and double-sided B3-sized posters of "My My Hero Academia" and "Vigilante - My Hero Academia ILLEGALS".
"Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 1993 to 1999. The story is about a young teacher, Meisuke Nueno(Nube), who is assigned to Domori Elementary School and solves a series of incidents with the power of the "demon hand" that resides in his left arm. The official sequel, "Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube NEO", was serialized in "Grand Jump" (same publisher) from 2014 to 2018, and "Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube S" was serialized in "Saikyō Jump" from 2018 to 2021.
The TV anime series was broadcast from 1996 to 1997, and was also made into an OVA and a feature film. In 2014, a TV drama starring Ryuhei Maruyama was broadcast.
The new anime is also attracting attention because Ryotaro Okiayu , who played the main character, Meisuke Nueno , in the TV anime, movie anime, and OVA that aired from 1996 to 1997, will reprise his role. The series will be broadcast on TV Asahi's anime slot "IMAnimation W" every Wednesday at 11:45 pm from July.
