The eighth episode of the fifth season of the TV drama series " Emergency Interrogation Room ," starring Yuki Amami (TV Asahi, Thursdays at 9 p.m.), will air on December 11th. The two-part episode depicts a gun explosion during target practice at a police academy. Guest appearances include Tamayama Tetsuji and Kazuya Ohashi of " Naniwa Danshi ."
At the police academy, students were undergoing shooting training under the guidance of charismatic instructor Takahiro Takigawa (played by Tamayama). One day, student Kentaro Miyamoto (played by Ohashi) accidentally fired his gun, hitting his classmate Minami Nakazato (played by Maria Mori).
Was it negligence or intentional? At the request of the Prime Minister's Office, Makabe Yukiko (Amami) and the "Emergency Incident Response Investigation Team (commonly known as Kintori)" began questioning Miyamoto, but he remained silent. The surveillance camera footage provided by the police academy only showed Miyamoto from close range. The moment of the hit was not recorded.
Kintori's director, Katsutoshi Kajiyama ( Tetsushi Tanaka), demands that Takigawa submit footage of the entire shooting range, but Takigawa refuses, fearing that the students' personal information may be leaked.
Meanwhile, Miyamoto suddenly confesses, "I shot on purpose." Yukiko tries to gauge Miyamoto's true intentions as he suddenly opens up. Kajiyama is struck by something Minami, who survived, said.
Detectives Watanabe Tetsuji (Hayami Mokomichi) and Inspector Daijiro (Suzuki Kosuke) from the First Investigation Division begin questioning the students. However, there is a strange atmosphere in the Takikawa classroom...!?
