Actress Mei Nagano recently attended the preview screening of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "Caster" (Sundays at 9pm, starting April 13th), starring Hiroshi Abe, held in Tokyo. She showed off a mature and cute look in a loose-fitting outfit that combined a white blouse with a ribbon tie with a long jacket and wide pants.
Her hair was parted in the center and down, and she finished off the look with a touch of class with gold-tone rings.
The drama is a social entertainment drama set in a TV news program, where the truth buried in the darkness is pursued and evil is punished. Shindo Soichi (Abe), a man who believes that "the truth moves the world!", works as a social affairs reporter and newscaster at a public broadcasting station, but is poached by the president of commercial TV station JBN to become the main newscaster of "Newsgate," a news program that is struggling with low ratings. In order to "communicate the truth," he will use any means necessary, conducting interviews and investigations according to his own rules and ignoring existing rules. He draws everyone around him in with his overwhelming presence. Nagano plays Sakikubo Hana, the program's general director.
Abe, Naniwa Danshi's Michieda Shunsuke, Emma Miyazawa, Takashi Okabe, Otoo Takuma, and Takahashi Hideki also attended the event.
