On April 2nd, Nintendo announced that it will release the game "Kirby Air Riders" for the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2025.
"Kirby Air Rider" is the first new game in 22 years since "Kirby Air Ride" was released for the GameCube in 2003. In a video released on the same day, it was also revealed that game creator Masahiro Sakurai will be in charge of directing.
The Nintendo Switch 2, the successor to the Nintendo Switch, is scheduled to be released on June 5th. The Japanese/domestic version will be priced at 49,980 yen, while a version bundled with the download version of the exclusive software Mario Kart World (53,980 yen) will be available, and the multilingual version (69,980 yen) will be sold exclusively through the official online store, My Nintendo Store.
