It has been announced that a new original anime, "Days Pass, But Food Is Delicious," with characters, story concept, and manga name creation by Atto, the author of the manga "Non Non Biyori," is being produced and will air in 2025. It will be directed by Kawamo Shinya of the anime "Non Non Biyori" and Shunsui Yuu, who has participated in "The Quintessential Quintuplets ∬," among others, with Hiki Hironobu, who has worked on "Akiba Meido Senso" and other series composition, and Mitsuda Hajime, who has worked on "Kiratto Pri☆Chan," in charge of character design and general animation direction. It will be produced by PAWORKS, which also produced "SHIROBAKO." A teaser visual featuring the main characters has also been released, stating that the anime will be "the story of a female college student who loves food."

Quro, the author of the manga "Koisuru Asteroid," will be in charge of the comic adaptation. Quro commented, "I'm grateful for the wonderful opportunity to be in charge of the comic adaptation. The story is about a female college student who loves food, so I'm currently drawing it while remembering and reminiscing about my time as a college student. I hope to be able to convey the charm of the cute and comical characters from the original work."
