The Kansai TV/Fuji TV drama " We Still Don't Know the School Rules of That Planet (Bokuhoshi)" (Mondays at 10pm) will be the first to feature Hayato Isomura in a lead role in a commercial TV drama, and will start on July 14th. The first episode will be 15 minutes longer.
The drama is a school human drama in which the protagonist, Kenji Shiratori (Isomura), who is timid and clumsy in everything because of his unique sensibility, is dispatched as a school lawyer to a private high school that is in turmoil due to the declining birthrate and becoming a coeducational school, and desperately faces the youth of young people whose problems cannot be easily solved by law or school rules. It is an original work written by screenwriter Mika Omori, who has worked on the 2015 late morning drama " Asa ga Kita " and the 2021 Asadora drama "Seiten wo Tsuke" (2021).
Mayu Hotta plays the heroine who understands the protagonist well, and Japanese language teacher Jyu Koda, while Goro Inagaki, who will be appearing in a commercial TV drama for the first time in about nine years, plays Misao Ozaki, the chairman of the private high school where the two work. Other cast members include Yukito Hidaka, Kotona Minami, Wataru Hinata, Rui Tsukishima Tsukishima, Hana Kondo, and Hina Kikuchi.
In the first episode... Kenji, who works at a small law firm, is ordered by his benefactor, the firm's director and director, Kurushima Kaoru (Ichikawa Miwako), to be a school lawyer at Hama Solaris High School, providing legal advice and guidance on problems that arise at the school.
Hama Solaris High School, where Misao Ozaki serves as chairman, has just merged with the boys' school Hamaura Technical High School and the girls' school Hama Yuri Girls' Academy, and problems have been erupting one after another within the school. Meanwhile, an unprecedented incident occurs when third-year student council president Yoshinori Takano (Yukito Hidaka) and vice president Mizuho Saito (Kotona Minami) both stop going to school. Kenji is immediately asked by the school to come up with a solution, but Kenji, who is not good at school to begin with, is unable to find a solution, even though he offers legal advice.
As Kenji's Japanese teacher, Koda Jyu, watches over him with concern, speculation spreads among the students that the reason the two boys are not attending school is because of changes to the school rules following the merger. Some students say they will sue the school to abolish the school uniforms. Kenji then suggests a mock trial called a "uniform trial," but...
