It has been revealed that actor Honda Miyu will play the heroine in the drama series "Futari Solo Camp," which will begin airing on January 9, 2025 on TOKYO MX.
The drama is a live-action adaptation of the popular manga "Futari Solo Camp" by Deguchi Yudai, which has sold over 3 million copies. It is a "solo camping x gourmet x romantic comedy" story that unfolds with the protagonist, Kinokura Gen, a true solo camper who loves nature and solitude, and Kusano Shizuku, a very novice female camper. The story depicts how Gen's peaceful camping life, who loves solitude, changes drastically when he meets Shizuku. Morisaki Win stars as the protagonist, Kinokura Gen, and Honda plays the heroine Shizuku.
Morisaki commented, "I'm very happy to be able to appear in a drama with a camping theme, as I love camping. I will do my best to convey to everyone the charm of the best nature and camping that Gen loves." Honda also commented, "I've been entrusted with the role of Kusano Shizuku. I'm Honda Miyu! This time, I'm having a major hair change from Honda Miyu! The process of bringing the world of the manga to reality was a task that will nourish me in my acting career. Like Shizuku, I will rely on Gen-san and become a beloved character on set! (laughs)."
"Futari Solo Camp" will be broadcast every Thursday from January 9, 2025 at 9:25 pm.
