The September light novel sales rankings were announced by Shosen Book Tower, a popular bookstore in Akihabara, Tokyo, and in first place was the second volume of "The Irregular at Magic High School: Darkness Flashes in the Curtain of Night" (Dengeki Bunko). The spin-off of "The Irregular at Magic High School" depicts the Kuroba siblings standing up against an organization that is targeting Shiba Tatsuya.
In second place was the fifth volume of "Iden: Tanami no Umi - Urin, Soaring Through the Warring States" (TO Books), and in third place was the tenth volume of "My Neighbor's Angel Turned Me Into a Useless Person Without Me Noticing" (GA Bunko), which was also made into a TV anime.
