It has been announced that "Happy Set Plarail," a collaboration between Takara Tomy's railway toy "Plarail" and McDonald's children's menu "Happy Set," will be on sale at McDonald's restaurants nationwide from September 13th. As a bonus, in addition to the "Plarail" bullet trains and steam locomotives, the lineup will include eight toys, including the "Keihan Electric Railway 13000 Series Thomas the Tank Engine," the Panda Kuroshio "Smile Adventure Train," and the Plarail train "Red Stream" in McDonald's original colors, as well as one "secret toy."
The first wave, from September 13th to 26th, will include the E5 Series Shinkansen Hayabusa, Keihan Electric Railway 13000 Series Thomas the Tank Engine, C61 No. 20 steam locomotive, and E8 Series Shinkansen Tsubasa. The second wave, from September 27 to October 10, will feature the 923-type Doctor Yellow, the Panda Kuroshio "Smile Adventure Train", the E235 Yamanote Line, and the Red Stream Special Color (McDonald's). The third wave, from October 11, will feature one of the nine toys that appeared in the first and second waves.
For three days on September 14, 15, and 16, if you purchase one set of "Happy Set 'Plarail'" as a weekend gift, you will receive a "Plarail Special DVD 2024".
