It has been announced that the second collaboration between Bandai's Tamagotchi series, a portable toy for raising children, and Hiroshi Fujiwara's design project fragment design, "Original Tamagotchi FRGMT EDITION 2 Black ver./White ver.", will be released.
Following on from the first edition, Fujiwara designed the device and packaging, and the second edition will be available in two colors, including black, adding white to the first edition. Only the inside of the device is matte-finished, giving it a simple and cool appearance. Each will cost 4,400 yen.
Preorders will be accepted from 4pm on September 2nd on Bandai Namco Group's official shopping site Premium Bandai. Shipment is scheduled for December.
