The film "Memories," starring actor Tasuku Emoto, will be released in June 2026, and a special Teaser trailer for the film was released on December 16th.
This latest film starring Emoto is directed by Mika Sakanishi, whose first feature film is this one. Sakanishi also wrote the script.
Yuta (Emoto) comes to a rural town in Kyushu to look after his father-in-law, who has broken his leg, until he recovers. While helping out at his father-in-law's old-fashioned photo studio, he exchanges videos taken on his smartphone with his wife and daughter in Tokyo.
