The TBS Tuesday drama "Jaa, Anta ga Tsukutte Miro yo It" (Tuesdays at 10pm) co-starring actors Kaho and Ryoma Takeuchi. The synopsis and stills from the second episode, which will air on October 14th, have been released.
Although they pass each other for the first time in a while, Katsuo (Takeuchi) doesn't notice Ayumi (Kaho) at all. Ayumi is stunned that Katsuo doesn't recognize her, even though she has just changed her hair color. She recalls the days since she met Nagisa (Saya), which led her to want to break up with Katsuo.
When Nagisa, who is now in charge at the hair salon, asks Ayumi, "What do you like?", she realizes that up until now she has been prioritizing "how to be liked" over "what I like."
Ayumi breaks up with Katsuo and starts living her own life. One day, by chance, she is approached by Minato (Yuzu Aoki), a liquor store clerk...
Meanwhile, Katsuo continues to be hung up on Ayumi and spends his days in agony. A junior colleague at his company, Minamigawa (Kyoka), recommends a matchmaking app, but he refuses, saying there's no woman like Ayumi out there! Katsuo is at odds with Minamigawa due to their different values, but something happens that makes him start to show interest in matchmaking apps...
The original work is a manga of the same name by Natsuko Taniguchi, currently being serialized in the digital comic magazine Comic Tanto (Bunkasha). Yamagishi Ayumi, who always puts her lover first, and Ebihara Katsuo, who has a patriarchal mentality, have been dating since their university days. After living together, Katsuo proposed marriage, but Ayumi's response was an unexpected "no." Through cooking, Katsuo reexamines the things he took for granted and grows as a person.
