"Kawashima Ninomiya's Tamigoe," a variety show that teaches about society through "Tamigoe," street interviews where you can hear the real voices of the world, will be broadcast on Fuji TV's "Saturday Premium" slot (Saturday 9pm) on November 9th. "Tamigoe," which aired as a local special in May, has been promoted to its first primetime and first nationwide special. MCs will continue to be Ninomiya Kazunari and Kawashima Akira of the comedy duo "Kirin." Guests include Kosugi Ryuichi of the comedy duo "Black Mayonnaise" and model and actor Ikumi Meru, also known as "Meruru." When it was broadcast locally in the Kanto region in May, "Tami" started the show with harsh comments such as "Kawashima should do comedy properly" and "Ninomiya lacks spirit and sparkle," leaving the two embarrassed. In this program, they conduct street interviews in various areas of Tokyo, collecting the voices of the people, or "Tamigoe," while investigating various things in the world. They ask, "What do Kawashima and Ninomiya lack?" When asked about their impressions of the two, they are met with a full-on Tamigoe right from the start of the program, with answers such as "Kawashima doesn't have enough cheerfulness" and "Ninomiya is too particular." The two are dejected, saying, "Again?", but Tami continues to talk about her impressions of the two.
They also ask guest Kosugi what he "lacks." He then hears a harsh Tamigoe, "I see Kosugi on various programs, but he doesn't have a main program." Kosugi immediately retorts, "I do have a main program!", but without a moment's hesitation, he explodes with a harsh Tamigoe, saying, "He has a dazed look on his face." In addition, as they investigate "doing this will make you a bad guy," various bad guy moves are announced, such as "wearing a T-shirt with English letters printed on it" and "wearing checked clothes when folded up," but Kosugi fits all of them...
In the second half of the show, entertainer Yanagisawa Shingo appears in a local location project. With the theme "Is there anything delicious in Gunma other than konnyaku?", he searches for 30 soul foods of Gunma. He interacts with the people of Gunma and investigates with high energy, sometimes getting into heated arguments. In addition, enka singer Tokunaga Yuki, who is also active in "Chidori no Oni Renchan," joins in on the Ibaraki location, and searches for soul foods other than natto, which are popular in Ibaraki.
Comments from Kawashima, Ninomiya, Kosugi, and Ikumi are as follows:
--Have you ever thought of yourself or the people around you as a "bad guy"?
Kawashima Akira: When I went to the address sent by Chidori's Nobu saying, "Brother, are you free? Please come over for a bit," it turned out to be a high-end tempura restaurant. "I was planning to go with Koyabu (Chitoyo) but I couldn't make it at the last minute. But it's a popular restaurant so I thought I'd come anyway." Oh, so that's when they call their senior (laughs). And it was a high-end restaurant that only had the Shochikubai course menu, which even the cheapest cost several tens of thousands of yen. So Nobu said, "I'm sorry to have made you come so suddenly, but I'll have the second lowest course." But that also means "it's the second highest course." In the end, he treated me to a really expensive course menu, and after eating, Nobu went straight to another restaurant with someone else... I really think he's a loser, I'll never forget it (laughs). Ninomiya Kazunari: This might be a thing with older guys, but when I get drunk I keep telling the same story over and over. I really hated it when I was the one listening. I knew the punch line and the flow, but when it's a senior I couldn't be rude. I had to react as if it was the first time I'd heard it... But after doing it dozens of times, it started to look cute on the contrary. However, when I started to think that way, a junior colleague told me, "I've heard that story many times." Maybe the moment I thought it was cute, I let my guard down. I was sad that I had become the one to do it, and I thought I was a loser (laughs).
-- If there is another special program next time, what "Tamigoe" would you like to hear?
Kawashima: Today's "Tamigoe" was also extreme, so I'd like to have a section where they praise the older men, saying, "You're cute if you do this." If they watch this broadcast, the older men of the world won't be able to sing anything at karaoke (laughs). This time too, we were told all the time, so I'd like to have a program where we can lick our wounds (laughs).
Ninomiya: This time too, I was on the side of being told, "If you do this, you're certified as a loser," so I'd like to hear what men think, "If you do this, a woman is XX." I also definitely want some good points! It's sad to hear that all the time, so I'd like to hear some good points I can use in the future.
◇Comment from Kosugi Ryuichi
"Checked pattern on the cuffs of clothes" and "T-shirts with English letters" were all mentioned in the show, and it was a full combo of "If you don't do this, you're a bad man"... I really wish this show would stop being so strict. There are parts where I have to accept that this is what "Tamigoe" is, but there are also parts where I want to fight back. They just say harsh things, and watching Shingo's location shoot in the second half was too much of a training... I don't want to appear on this show anymore (lol).
◇Comment from Ikumi Meru
I could of course sympathize with the "Tamigoe" around town, but there were also many that made me think, "Even this kind of thing can be labeled as a bad man!" There were also some things that sounded like something I would normally talk about with friends in my hometown, so it was really interesting. Personally, I think that guys who are not used to taking selfies and are a little bad at it are cuter than guys who are too good at it (lol).
