The manga "ItTis Time for "Torture," Princess," which has also been adapted into a TV anime, aired its final chapter on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+" on August 19th, bringing the curtain down on its six-year serialization. It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime will begin airing in January 2026, and a teaser trailer for the second season has been released on YouTube. The trailer features Sakura Heartlock, a former assassin who will be appearing in the second season. In the second season, the princess will continue to be subjected to the same "torture."
The manga, written by Haruhara Robinson and illustrated by Hira Kei, began serialization in April 2019. The story follows the princess of the King's army, who is also the commander of the Third Knights, who is captured by the Demon King's army and subjected to a variety of elaborate tortures by her torturer.
