"Let's say goodbye here."
In front of the ticket gate at Miura Kaigan Station, Kaworu let go of Aimi's hand and urged her, "Shall we go?" However, Aimi was reluctant to move her legs, so Kaworu decided to signal their departure by saying, "Well, how about we all say 'Ready, set, go!' (at the same time)? No looking back."
The moment he said "Ready, set, go!", Kaworu spun around to face Aimi again. However, Aimi turned her back to Kaworu and started walking, passing through the ticket gate. Kaworu watched Aimi leave with a sad expression on his face.

In "Tokyo Love Story," Kanji and Rika say, "Let's turn around together on the count of three!" and then start walking in opposite directions.
On social media, people were excited, saying things like, "I couldn't bear to say goodbye at the station, so I was like, 'Let's turn around together,' and I was crying, thinking, 'It's Kanji and Rika!'" "Oh, it's an homage to 'Tokyo Love Story'" and "The scene where they didn't look back at each other at the ticket gate. It was like the legendary scene from Tokyo Love Story."
