Fuji TV announcer Aoi Harada:Making her voice acting debut in the anime "Digimon," she plays a female announcer. "I'd give myself a 30 out of 100 (laughs)."

Fuji TV announcer Aoi Harada will be making a guest voice appearance in the TV anime "DIGIMON BEATBREAK" ( Digimon TV), part of the popular " Digimon " series which includes anime and games. This will be Harada's first time voice acting, and she will play a female announcer in episode 37, "Gentle Magic," airing on July 5th at 9:00 AM.

Harada commented, "When recording narration, there are specifications for how many seconds to read each line, but with voice acting, you speak when it's your character's turn, so it's similar to narration but not the same, and I found it very difficult. It's not just about reading the lines accurately, but about conveying the emotions, which was difficult, and I struggled a lot to get it right. If I were to give myself a score for this voice acting session, it would be 30 points in the sense that I gave it my all (laughs). Episode 37, 'Gentle Magic,' in which I appear, will air on July 5th. Don't miss it!"

A video of announcer Harada attempting voice acting for the first time in her life will be released on the official Digimon YouTube channel. Series director Hiroaki Miyamoto will also appear to discuss the appeal of the series.

"Digimon" is a long-loved and popular series, with the release of a handheld game in 1997, the first TV anime series "Digimon Adventure" airing from 1999 to 2000, and a total of nine TV series and thirteen theatrical films being produced.

"DIGIMON BEATBREAK" is the first new anime in approximately two years since "Digimon Ghost Game," which aired from October 2021 to March 2023. The story follows the protagonist, Tomorou Tenma, as he becomes involved in extraordinary events after encountering Geckomon. It airs every Sunday at 9:00 AM on Fuji TV and other networks.
