It has been announced that Part 2 of "BEASTARS FINAL SEASON," the final episode of the anime "BEASTARS," based on the manga by Paru Itagaki that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten), will be exclusively streamed on Netflix from March 2026.
The main promotional video was also released, weaving together footage from Part 1 of "FINAL SEASON" and looking back on Legoshi and Haru's footsteps, depicting the growth and relationship between the two, as well as the looming threat of Melon. It was also announced that the popular group "SEVENTEEN" will be performing the ending theme "Tiny Light."
"BEASTARS" is a manga featuring anthropomorphized animals. It depicts an ensemble cast of animals, including the gray wolf Legoshi, set in a world where carnivores and herbivores coexist and cannibalism is taboo. It also garnered attention when it was selected for the "Manga Taisho 2018" award. It was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" from 2016 to 2020.
The anime is produced by Orange, the studio behind "Land of the Lustrous." Legoshi is voiced by Chikahiro Kobayashi and Sayaka Sembongi plays Haru. The first season aired from October to December 2019, and the second season from January to March 2021. Part 1 of the "FINAL SEASON" began streaming on Netflix in December 2024.
