It has been announced that the webtoon "Monster Eater Adventurer: I Only Eat Monsters and Become Stronger," based on the light novel by Renkin-oh, will be adapted into a TV anime and will begin airing on TOKYO MX in April. The anime will be directed by Sato Hikaru and produced by Imagica Infos and Imageworks Studio. It will be produced using the light animation technique by Dai Nippon Printing.
The story is a webtoon currently being serialized on LINE Manga. After being betrayed by his companions and stranded, Rude, an E-rank adventurer, decides to eat the forbidden flesh of monsters. By simply eating monsters, he acquires new skills and embarks on an adventure.
