The 12th episode of the popular detective drama "Aibou Season 24" (TV Asahi, Wednesdays at 9 PM), starring Yutaka Mizutani and Yasufumi Terawaki, titled "Special Investigation Unit Jinkawa Kouhei," will air on January 14th. Guest appearances will include Ryuji Harada and Rio Yamashita.
A rare event occurs when Jinkawa (Harada), a detective from the Second Investigation Division, tracks down the culprit of a series of thefts that had remained unsolved for five years and is awarded a commendation. In fact, Jinkawa and female police officer Ryoko Hayami (Yamashita) have been working together for the past six months in an unofficial department called the Special Investigation Unit, or "Special Investigation Unit" for short.
Ryoko usually works as a supplies clerk, purchasing supplies and managing the warehouse, but her desire to become a detective led her to get Jinkawa involved in investigating unsolved cases. The case for which Jinkawa was awarded was also thanks to Ryoko's excellent deductive powers and observational skills.
Meanwhile, Jinkawa asks Ukyo (Mizutani) and Kaoru (Terawaki) for advice. An arrested thief denies the only crime in which a violin worth 300 million yen was stolen. As this is the only case that remains unsolved, Jinkawa asks for the cooperation of the Special Investigation Unit. Ukyo and Kaoru immediately begin their investigation, but just as they are about to do so, a person suspected of involvement in the crime is found dead after falling from a building.
A female police officer in charge of supplies demonstrates her brilliant reasoning skills, while Jinkawa's new love story sparks a turbulent development.
The script was written by Kawasaki Ryuta and the director was Hashimoto Hajime.
