An event commemorating the anime's 10th anniversary was held on July 26th at the Pacifico Yokohama National Hall (Nishi-ku, Yokohama), and it was revealed that Fukushima Jun, Sora Amamiya, Rie Takahashi, Ai Kayano, Machico, and others will be appearing, and that an exhibition commemorating the anime's 10th anniversary will be held in Akihabara, Tokyo around autumn.
It was also announced that a new official game with an original story, "KonoSuba~Kono Beloved Town Prosperity!~," will be released in 2026 under the production supervision of the original author Natsume Akatsuki and with the cooperation of the original illustrator Kurone Mishima, and that an audio drama with a newly written story will be released.
"KonoSuba" is an adventure fantasy about Satou Kazuma, a young man who loves video games and loses his life in an accident, who is reincarnated in another world and embarks on a troublesome adventure with goddesses. The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2016, the second from January to March 2017, and the third from April to June 2024.
