It has been announced that the Singapore performance of music unit YOASOBI, which took place on February 22nd and 23rd of this year as part of their Asia tour, will be broadcast and streamed on WOWOW in December. WOWOW has already decided to broadcast and stream "YOASOBI x WOWOW Special" from November, and has also announced the lineup up to January 2026.
For their second Asia tour, YOASOBI performed 14 arena shows, two days each, in seven cities: Incheon, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Taipei, Shanghai, Singapore, and Jakarta, from December 2024 to February 2025. It was the largest Asia tour by a Japanese artist, attracting a total of 140,000 people.
WOWOW will broadcast and stream the "YOASOBI ASIA TOUR 2024-2025 'Cho-genjitsu' IN SINGAPORE" concert held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in December. The stadium, which can accommodate up to 12,000 people, has previously hosted concerts by David Bowie, Janet Jackson, Eric Clapton, the Backstreet Boys, Oasis, and Coldplay. YOASOBI's performance centered on the quintessential Japanese culture, such as the mega-hit "Idol" (from the anime series "Idol").
Additionally, in January next year, they will broadcast and stream the final performance of the hall tour, titled "YOASOBI HALL TOUR 2025 WANDARA," which will be held at the Okinawa Convention Center Exhibition Hall (Ginowan City, Okinawa Prefecture) on November 30th this year.
Prior to these two programs, a program titled "YOASOBI ASIA TOUR 2023-2024" LIVE IN SEOUL KOREA" will be broadcast and streamed on WOWOW Live and WOWOW On Demand from 7:30 PM on Getsuku, featuring footage of the performance held at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul, South Korea on December 16th, 2023.
