The final judging session for the annual end-of-year music awards, the 67th Shining! The Japan Record Awards(sponsored by the Japan Composer's Association), was held at the New National Theatre (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo) on December 30th, and Kawaguchi Haruna, who serves as the general host, appeared in a strapless dress that accentuated her beautiful décolletage.
Kawaguchi will be teaming up with TBS announcer Shinichiro Azumi as the general host for the third consecutive year. This will be the first time the same pair have hosted The Japan Record Awards since Masaaki Sakai and Norika Fujiwara did so from 2009 to 2011.
At the opening, when Yasuzumi asked Kawaguchi, "For the third year in a row," Kawaguchi smiled and said, "I'm honored and happy." Yasuzumi then muttered, "The stage is really lively, and I can vaguely sense that everyone is only looking at Kawaguchi," drawing laughter.
