NHK Educational TV's program "The Power of Our Ancestors: A Fountain of Wisdom," which teaches modern wisdom from historical predecessors, will broadcast a selection titled "Without Ties! The Power of the Local Regions: Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Be Bold When You Do It" from 10:00 PM on December 30th. Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who wielded brilliant command in crucial battles in his life, such as the Battle of Shizugatake, ultimately seized control of the country. When he attempted to completely renovate the city of Kyoto, he faced the difficult problem of a rapid population increase, and he brilliantly solved it with a plan that no one would have thought of.
