Former professional wrestler and TV personality Keiji Mutoh attended the "NON-neechan's Super Refreshing GINON Izakaya PR Presentation" event for Asahi Beer's sour drink "GINON," held in Tokyo on July 2nd. In connection with "GINON" being sugar-free, Mutoh was asked about a moment when he thought, "This isn't sweet." He then shared an anecdote about fellow former professional wrestler Riki Choshu, saying, "Recently, I've been appearing on TV with Riki Choshu a lot for work. We've known each other for 40 years, but I still can't understand what he's saying. He gets angry if I ask him to repeat himself three times."
Mutoh said that when he talks to Choshu Riki, he "half-guesses his answers," and added, "If his guess is wrong, he gets angry and says, 'Keiji, I'm going to change my approach!' It's tough for the person who has to deal with him."
Actress Riho Yoshioka, who plays the role of "NON-neechan" in the "GINON" commercial, also appeared at the event. "GINON" is a sugar-free gin sour made with a special gin that is flavored by distilling after steeping citrus peels, and a limited-time store, "NON-neechan's Super Refreshing GINON Izakaya," will open at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya Atrium (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) from July 2 to 5. At the event, Mr. Muto appeared as the first customer, fitting the product's "sugar-free" nature. He drank the sugar-free "GINON" and "transformed" into "Sugar-Free Keiji."
