The final judging session for the annual end-of-year music awards, the 67th Shining! The Japan Record Awards(sponsored by the Japan Composer's Association), was held at the New National Theatre (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo) on December 30th, and the collaboration between Aina the End, who won the Outstanding Work Award, and her sister attracted attention.
Aina performed "Kakumei Dochu - On The Way," which was also the opening theme for the second season of the TV anime "Dandadan." After the performance, when asked by the general host, announcer Shinichiro Azumi Yasuzumi, she revealed that her younger sister, REiKA, had performed with her as a dancer. She embraced her sister and said with a smile, "I'm so happy!" about the sisters performing together at the Records Awards. She then introduced her backup dancers, "Tails," saying, "They're all as precious to me as my little sisters!"
On social media, viewers commented, "This is the first time I've heard that Aina the End's sister is a dancer...", "Her sister is on stage with them too?! That's wonderful", "She introduces all the members of Teruzu as her sisters, she's someone who always has so much love, tears", "She not only supported her sister but all the dancers, it's wonderful to see her good personality", and "The other three dancers quickly followed suit, saying, 'They're like my sisters'. I've grown to like Aina the End."
The 67th The Japan Record Awards will be broadcast live on the TBS network, and will be hosted by actor Haruna Kawaguchi and TBS announcer Shinichiro Azumi.
