The final judging session for the annual end-of-year music awards, the 67th Shining! The Japan Record Awards(sponsored by the Japan Composer's Association), was broadcast live on TBS from the New National Theatre (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) on December 30th, and the seven-member idol group CANDY TUNE, who won the Excellence Award, performed their award-winning song "Double Fight!"
Kotomi Tachibana, who is also known as "Yukiri Neki" (Yukiri Neki), whose arm-waving dance during "Double Bounce Fight!" became a hot topic as it resembled the act of draining noodles, was shown in close-up during the dance. On social media, viewers commented, "Here comes the yukiri!", "Yukiri Neki is in action even at the Record Awards", "The camera work for the yukiri was perfect", "The Record Awards staff are excellent for properly filming the yukiri Neki", "I almost burst into tears watching the yukiri Neki at the Record Awards", "Yukiri Neki on the big stage is great", and "It was so cute to see Kotomi Tachibana Kotomi doing the yukiri Neki even at the Record Awards".
The 67th The Japan Record Awards will be hosted by actress Haruna Kawaguchi and the station's announcer Shinichiro Azumi.
