A setting collection titled "Blue Comet SPT Layzner CHRONICLE" (Bandai Namco Film Works) will be released to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the TV broadcast of the anime "Blue Comet SPT Layzner."
This two-volume set of setting books is a culmination of the series, and includes not only character, mechanical, and art settings, but also past licensed illustrations by Kunio Okawara, valuable materials such as proposals and setting materials from the previous project "Stealth Wise," and a conversation between director Ryosuke Takahashi and producer Teiichi Tsukada. The three-sided box that holds the booklets features an original illustration by Okawara, and the covers of each booklet were drawn by Goshi Nakamura.
The price is 13,750 yen. Reservations are being accepted on the Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, Premium Bandai, and elsewhere.
