Actor Yuumi Kawai will be on the cover of the combined July/August issue of the women's fashion magazine "Harper's Bazaar" (Hearst Fujingahosha), which will go on sale on May 20th. This is her first time appearing on the cover of the magazine. She is wearing Dior's Fall 2025 collection, which features delicate materials made from traditional Japanese handicrafts and motifs inspired by gardens.
Kawai will be showcasing six looks from the collection, including a chiffon skirt decorated with floral ornaments and an embroidered dress.
In the interview, he talked about the origins of his desire to become an actor and his outlook for the future, saying, "I don't want to limit or narrow my horizons too much, but rather want to keep challenging myself with unknown things. I want to explore various possibilities. I would also like to work in theater, because I believe that my roots are on the stage."
