It has been revealed that former Morning Musume member Ai Kago will be appearing in Netflix's new comedy "Bato Mura," which will begin streaming on May 13th.
"Bato Mura" is a hit project on Nobuyuki Sakuma's YouTube channel "NOBROCK TV" that has been viewed over 15 million times. The villagers are all yelling at comedians, and if they can endure it, they will receive a prize, but if they get angry or irritated, the prize will be reduced.
The Netflix version will be hosted by Higashino Koji and Mori Kasumi, and will feature Ken Watanabe of "Unjash" and Takashi Watanabe of "Nishikigoi", who appeared on the YouTube version as comedians being abused, as well as Shinobu Hasegawa of "Sisonne" and Atsuhiro Tsuda of Diane. Comedians who will be abused include Akihiro Nishino of "King Kong" and Kazunobu Kubota of "Toro Salmon", as well as Miricham, Masahiro Takashima, Yuno Nagao, and Miona Hori. Kago will be participating with the lift of the ban on cigarettes, which could be called her "item of fate". MC Higashino was impressed, saying, "You're so used to doing it," and in his comments after the shoot, he praised her, saying, "It's a bit erotic and extremely funny."
