It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime "Skeleton Knight in Another World to Skeleton Knight in Another World World II," based on the light novel by Saruoni Hashibira from Overlap Novels (Overlap), will begin airing in July. A teaser trailer featuring new footage and the first key visuals that give the impression of a new journey and new encounters have been released. It has also been announced that the second season will be produced by Aura Studio.
It was also announced that the cast members, including Maeno Tomoaki as Ark, Fairouz Ai as Arian, Nene Hieda as Ponta, and Tomita Miyu as Chiyome, will be continuing in their roles in the second season, and they provided comments. It was also announced that singer-songwriter PelleK will be performing the opening theme, just like in the first season, and a video letter was released.
The story is about Ark, who wakes up in a different world and finds himself transformed into a skeleton knight, the character he played in a massively multiplayer online (MMO) RPG. He tries to enjoy the new world without attracting attention, but is unable to overlook the evil he sees in front of him, and ends up reforming the world on his travels. The first season of the anime aired from April to June 2022.
