It has been announced that a new work, "Hell Teacher Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube PLUS", based on the popular manga "Hell Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube ", written by Makura Shou and illustrated by Okano Takeshi, which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), will begin serialization on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump +" on May 14th. The same work will be followed by the announcement that a new series, " Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube", will start in the June issue of "Saikyō Jump" (Shueisha), released on May 2nd, marking the start of a double new series.
"Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube PLUS" depicts the untold gems of "+" that happened in secret in Domori Town when Hiroshi Tatsuno and Goko Inaba were students in class 3, 5th grade at Domori Elementary School. Updated every Wednesday.
The series is also attracting attention as it will be the first new anime production in about 26 years since the 1999 OVA (original video animation) "Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube: The Greatest Battle in History! Zetsuki Attacks!!"
It was also announced that the new anime will be broadcast from 11:15 pm on July 2nd. The first episode will be a one-hour special, with two episodes broadcast consecutively, and subsequent episodes will be broadcast on TV Asahi's anime slot "IMAnimation W". It was also announced that the series will be split into two seasons, with the second season scheduled to air from January 2026.
"Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 1993 to 1999. The story is about a young teacher, Meisuke Nueno(Nube), who is assigned to Domori Elementary School and solves a series of incidents with the power of the "demon hand" that resides in his left arm. The official sequel, "Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube NEO", was serialized in "Grand Jump" (same publisher) from 2014 to 2018, and "Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube S" was serialized in "Saikyō Jump" (same publisher) from 2018 to 2021. The total number of copies of the series published is approximately 29 million.
The TV anime series was broadcast from 1996 to 1997, and was also made into an OVA and a feature film. In 2014, a TV drama starring Ryuhei Maruyama was broadcast.
