It has been announced that the second and final season of the fourth season of the TV anime series "Dr. Stone," based on the manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), "Dr. Stone Science Future," will begin airing in July. With Zeno held hostage, Senku and the Kingdom of Science split into two groups and head to South America. A commemorative illustration of Senku and Zeno drawn by character designer Yuko Iwasa was also released. The final season will be split into three seasons, with the first season starting in January and the final episode airing on March 27th on TOKYO MX and other stations.
"Dr. Stone" is written by Inagaki Riichiro (Eyeshield 21) and illustrated by Boichi (San-Ken Rock and ORIGIN). It was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from March 2017 to March 2022. Thousands of years have passed since all of humanity was instantly turned to stone by a mysterious phenomenon. Senku Ishigami, a boy with a superhuman intellect and a natural scientist, awakens in a desperate situation and decides to search for his friends and take the world back... This is the story. Senku uses science to try to build a civilization from scratch. The comics have sold over 18 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from July to December 2019, the second season from January to March 2021, the TV special "Dr. STONE Ryusui" in July 2022, the first cour of the third season from April to June 2023, and the second cour from October to December of the same year.
